Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the sampanatacao.com.br website, the training app and the services of Sampa Natação (“Sampa Natação”). By using the website, creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

1. Services

We offer swimming lessons, training coaching, events and an app where students follow their workouts, attendance, assessments and results. Formats, schedules, locations and lesson content may change, with prior notice to the students affected.

2. App account

• Access to the app is by invitation from the team and is personal and non-transferable.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the information you enter.
• Accounts for minors are created and managed by their parents or guardians, who are responsible for their use.
• We may suspend accounts used improperly or in breach of these terms.

3. Health and safety

• Swimming is a physical activity. Before starting, we recommend a medical check-up; we may require a medical fitness certificate when necessary.
• Tell the team about relevant health conditions, injuries and medications, and let us know of any change. This information is used only to adapt your training safely.
• App workouts are planned by the team, but they do not replace medical advice. Stop exercising and tell the instructor if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
• Follow the instructors’ guidance and the rules of the lesson venue.

4. Plans and payments

• Prices, billing frequency and what each plan includes are shown on the Plans page and at checkout.
• Charges are handled by a partner payment processor. Late payments may lead to suspension of access to lessons and the app until settled.
• Purchases made online may be cancelled within 7 days with a full refund, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
• Rules for cancellation, make-up lessons and price adjustments follow the conditions of the plan purchased. To cancel, contact the team at contato@sampanatacao.com.br.

5. Acceptable use

When using the website and the app, you agree not to:

• try to access accounts, data or areas without authorization;
• post offensive or illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
• copy, resell or distribute workouts and app content without authorization.

6. Intellectual property

The brand, texts, images, workouts and software of the website and the app belong to Sampa Natação or its licensors. Use is permitted for personal purposes only, within the service purchased.

7. Liability

We work to keep the website and the app available and accurate, but interruptions may occur for maintenance or due to third-party failures. We are not liable for damage caused by false or omitted information provided by the student, by failure to follow the team’s guidance or by misuse of the account.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top indicates the current version, and relevant changes will be announced on the website or in the app.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer’s place of residence are chosen to settle any disputes. Questions: contato@sampanatacao.com.br.
